Observations of an Angel

Imagine if you will…that God now requires our guardian angels to “blog” about their protection activities of us...
Subject: Kim
Observations: Week 2,150/Day 2
We got a new directive from the “BIG BOSS”. He wants us to log, via computer, all activity for our cases.

Kim slept somewhat restlessly last night and again she forgot to pray for the restful sleep she so desires. I know eventually she’ll realize the shoulder pain is a sort of “wake-up” call from the Boss that He’s got His hand on her shoulder at all times.

She also got up once with a leg cramp. It was kind of funny watching her dance around the room trying to stretch out that muscle. I don’t think anyone but the dogs heard me. I accidentally woke them up so she hobbled to let them outside and when they saw the rain they stood on the porch staring at us. The rest of the night was uneventful.

We got up this morning and she forgot to offer praise to the Boss again. She is definitely going through some “selfish” phase lately. She’s got a bunch on her mind and won’t talk about it with anyone, so maybe she’ll pray on the way to work as she usually does. I didn’t let her drop the soap in the shower even once this morning, sort of my “Monday treat” to start the week off right. She found clothing to wear without much ado and she remembered to get her breakfast on the way out the door.

More later... We’ve got to drive and that requires my full attention…

So…what’s your guardian’s blog look like? Just a thought!

This really made me think. It is a great post. I hope you don't mind, but I linked your post on my most recent blog post.

I would love to say a trite "That was cute" and leave it at that, but what a challenging post. Instead of "what would Jesus do," "what would my guardian angel write up a report about me today"

hmmm

Mine would be saying, "This girl squeezed three church meetings and an early service into ONE Sunday? Is she crazy???"

Yes, I did and yes, I am crazy - crazy for God, that is!

I think my guardian's blog is pretty long ... with a lot of comments like, "I can't believe she's doing that ... AGAIN!" or maybe "Here we go again!"

Sometimes, it might even say something like ... "It was a boring day... I sat for four hours holding her eyelids open so she wouldn't fall asleep while taking care of her baby (or working, or driving)."

How about, "Is she eating cake again? I thought she wanted to loose weight!"

Or... "Oh, no!!! She's gonna drop the baby again ... quick scoop him up before he hits the floor!"

This was fun to think about, and fun to read what YOUR guardian might say!

Mine would be too speechless for all the stupid things I do and think in the first 10 minutes of the day, let alone the rest. It's a good thing he's blogging. You don't have to talk for those, unless of course he decides to audio blog...

Then he would be putting in for a job change for a nice cushy job, like being Gibee's angel.
